As we all know steel guitar is difficult to learn! It still takes me time to come up with chord melody and arrangement stuff, but I’m getting faster. I’m lucky because I come from a jazz background. That, along with all of my ear training, has been extremely beneficial. Improvisation is really tough, and technique and intonation can get in the way. Anyway, I’m so glad I have been able to work so much on it and for all of the support I've gotten along the way. It’s really interesting, full of challenges and inspiration, and I’m always finding new stuff to do. Anyway, bear with me as I work my way through "Georgia On My Mind." 🎶😎🎶
