I just took delivery of my new ten string Clinesmith last week. I ordered it from Todd last February. It was definitely worth the wait. The only problem is that I don't want to play anything else now. I find myself trying to think of reasons to play it instead of my pedal steels. Here's a few pictures of the beauty.

Congrats Bob, It is worth being in a museum, I'm assuming it sounds as good as it looks!

What you are saying about your Clinesmith is exactly what I have experienced since I got my first Clinesmith a few years ago. That was a cast aluminum S8 with a Bigsby-style pickup. I now also have a wood-body, aluminum-neck D10 with the same type of pickups. Todd's guitars are amazing. I have a few other non-pedal steels that just sit in the cases now. Not a thing wrong with them - they're excellent guitars.

Congrats, that looks awesome!

I'm awaiting my 2nd Clinesmith. Should be ready in March/April. Like you said, the wait is worth it.

Congratulations Bob! It looks gorgeous, and undoubtedly also sounds great too. Like others have noted, my Clinesmith (7 string fry pan) tends to steal playing time from my other lap steels.
