And now I find out I can't measure the offsets with it.
I want to program a sweetener specific to my psg and I need to measure the offsets.
I don't have a smartphone, so I can't use the PitchLabPro app
to do this.
I do have a Boss TU-12H that will show the offsets in hertz
numbers, so I guess I could convert that to cents- and cents+,
not sure how accurate that would be...
Any ideas about how I could accomplish measuring the offsets accurately?
I bought the strobostomp because of it's large display and it seems like a lot of psg players like it.
Any help you can provide would be welcome.

Hi,Joe.
That Boss tuner actually does have a crude cents meter on it.
If you look at those black bars that are on the face of the dial, each one of those represents 10 cents. Below, they are labeled +10, +20, etc.
You have to approximate. If the needle is about halfway across the first bar, that would be 5 cents. You should be able to get within a cent or two of the actual value by interpolation. Hopefully that will be close enough for your purposes...

What I have done in the past to measure the offsets is:
1: tune my A to the tuner
2: tune the rest of the guitar with harmonics by ear.
3: compare the note of the guitar to the tuner by changing the cent raise or lower of the tuner until the note reads in tune. If the tuner setting needed raised 6 cents then that offset would need to be set at + 6 cents.
In a quiet room I always feel i need to tweak things a bit but, in a loud room , a tuner set with this system gets me close enough quickly.
I have found that the MA9 works quite well for my guitars so I have just been using that lately (thanks to Micky Adams for that)
