Yearly is still available....click on link and scroll down to view the plans.
Renewal rates for returning students are grandfathered in. If you were already in the PFM and have ever renewed, whatever your renewal rate was at your last renewal remains your renewal rate forever. |

Welcome Dirk and Scott!
We launched 4 years ago with around 150 lessons...now there's over 450 and we add a new one at least once a week on average over the course of a year. Today's new lesson is "Mastering Pedal Squeezes".
You can "jump in the stream" at whatever your skill level currently is and find something to work on, from beginner to working pro. Paul estimates there's 6 years of concentrated study in the Method now, and it keeps getting bigger.
Be sure to use the Note Template in the RESOURCES section. Download and print out copies to make your own journal of what you are studying. It will be a great resource to refer during the busy months when you are not actively enrolled. |

Is there a way to order just the C6 material (Toolbox, Essentials, Complete)?
If so, would it be more difficult to learn without the other material?
Does the Complete C6 include the others?
If this is an option, how would I go about it? _________________ 1979 MSA U12 Pedal Steel

Hi Daniel-

C6 Essentials and C6 Toolbox are available as stand-alone $99/12-months access courses. You can apply the $99 of either/both to the complete Method 12-month enrollment price at any time.

If you have solid picking and blocking technique and a good understanding of basic music theory on E9, the C6 Essentials course starts there and explores the tuning, how to approach it, chord and scale pockets.
C6 Toolbox is how Paul approaches the neck and uses practical chord-to-chord movements within common progressions to demonstrate ways to play harmonies and melodies in the manner you will actually use them...by making music with them. A "4 chord to 5 chord" move is the same as a "1 chord to 2 chord", "5 to 1" is the same as "6 to 2", etc. It's a great way to look at the tuning.

C6 Complete is not available as a stand-alone course at this time. It exists (as does E9 Complete for E9-based material) as a filter for all of C6 lessons in the PFM. There are more C6 lessons than what is included in C6 Essentials and C6 Toolbox, generally more advanced chordal and improv material including a breakdown of Coltrane's "Giant Steps". There are so many lessons in the PFM that we chopped it up into more manageable mini-courses for those wishing to focus on certain aspects.
You can check out The Paul Franklin Method page for a Complete Lesson List of every lesson in the course. The C6 material is clearly marked in their own modules...just scroll down for a bit and click the arrow to reveal all of the module's individual lessons.
Hope that helps! |

Hey Tom. It seems like there’s a lot of material in the complete method that I wouldn’t need now. I’m not a beginner and don’t have C6 neck. Which product would be best suited for someone trying to expand knowledge base and tighten up technique? |

You can check out the Applications: E9 Pedal Steel Toolbox course.
That has some advanced techniques, the Picking and Blocking exercise series called Permutations, and an extended section on Backing A Singer. |

Man this is so great !!Just two weeks in, and have learned so much.
Not one to tout some product. But I would encourage any one to try it, even for a month.
What's $50 bucks in Joes economy? ![Shocked](images/smiles/icon_eek.gif) |
