Has anyone tried using an Expression pedal w/ Kemper?

Just curious really if anyone had played steel plugged straight in to a Kemper with an expression pedal connected to the Kemper set only as a vp . If so how well did it work? I know guitar players use that configuration with the pedal set for volume and several other parameters including a gradual morphing of one profile into another.

I use one with my Strymon LEX and it works as it should.
