I tried Google first, but I can't find any reference to the string spacing on this critter versus a typical six-string resonator guitar.

I don’t know, Lee, but I wanted to chime in and say I bought this same model Dobro recently from a Forumite and LOVE it. I’m using the same G6 tuning.
It’s fun to hear swing and jazz licks in the Dobro acoustic format. The spacing is a little bit tighter than a standard Dobro, but you get used to it quickly. Good luck with the sale! |

There is about a 1/16" difference between the spacing on the 6 string vs the 8 string. Overall at the bridge my Wolfe 6 stringer is 2-7/32" and the Gold Tone is 2-11/16".
