Curious about the intro riff. I'm guessing it might be a dobro in G tuning capo'd up at the 4th fret out of B.

And it may even be a banjo playing it, I can't tell, but I don't believe I hear a drone string which would be a high B using the one of the 5th string spikes.

I'm a pedal steel player, just dabble with the dobro pretty much. I hear the roll, and the b5 lick, but just am missing something.

It's a banjo, definitely. Sounds like Buck Trent on an electric one, to my ears.
