What I use with my GFI with a Lawrence 710 pickup and a Hilton VP.
EQ: Bass 12 O'clock, Mid and Treble two clicks left of 12 O'clock. Voice: FullQ.
These settings may or may not work but will get you in the ballpark.
EDIT/Added: Use standard guitar cables, not the low capacitance cables such as George L's.

I use the VINT setting. Naturally there are several variables, like steel, pickup, and environment. I start with BASS one or two clicks left of 12:00 o'clock, MID around 8:00, TREBLE one or two clicks left of 12:00. |

When I got my Tone Block 202 in March 2022, I went hunting settings too.
Somewhere on the internet there was a picture of Travis Toys actual amp. with settings.
BY CLOCK FACE,
GAIN 1:30, LIMITER 11:00, BASS 11:30, MID 11:00, TREBLE 11:00, REVERB 11:00, MASTER 1:00. VOICE FullQ.
My Guitar is a GFI Keyless S12 With George L E-66 pickup, D'Addario .250 Cable to Goodrich Pot VP, D'Addario .250 Cable to 202, Eminence EPS-15C in Birch cabinet. I had to tweek setting a little from these settings.
I tried the Amp., With a set of small diameter cables from, Guitar to VP to Amp. I had to to turn the Treble to 0, To get a sort of usable sound out of the TB 202. |
