I have had an ad in WTB for Stringmaster parts for a while now and thanks to Bill Sinclair, Gary Sill, Bill Quinn, and Al Meyers supplying parts, I have made great progress getting my Stringmaster projects done. Thank you Sirs!
I am at a critical point now and have searched as far as I can and have come up dry. I still need this type of 8 string control plate:
(I could make a D8 plate with the knife switch work or the T8/Q plate with the 3/4 holes for push buttons)
By any chance does anyone know of a source (store, repairman, collector, etc.) that might have one? I am bringing a badly abused Mark 2 Quad husk back to life and this part is on the critical path.
Many thanks all!!! _________________ Tony

Thanks John,
I have a spare blank plate like that (for neck types 3 & 4) and that is my Plan C. Around here the machine shops have a 3 or 4 hour minimum @ $125 per hour.
If I had a vertical mill (or access to one) I would mod it myself. _________________ Tony
