This Fender PS-210 may have been originally owned by a local St. Louis player.??? I recognize the bent tuning screws.
Gene's PS-210 Fender Guitar has been modified to a 12 string neck on the front and an 8 string finger style neck on the bottom neck. Also some of the metal on Gene's guitar has been colored by anodizing.

| I seen that guitar at Blackie Taylors, oh maybe 2 years ago or so. It is a prototype and does not have a serial number, if I recall corectly. It had a guitar neck on it. I dont know about Gene, but Blackie plays a 12 string universal on one neck and a regular guitar neck on the other. Very modern looking guitar, and very very heavy. |

Basil, Lucky you. you know how they sound and play.
I played it at the Arizona Music store in Glendals,Az for about an hour and just was so comfortable playing. Then they let me take it out for a Weekend, as I was really serious about buying it.
If a guy wants to try different tunings and pedal pulls, this is the ideal one to do it with. Very quick and easy, no tools needed , just a screw driver.
I played the PS210 in 1972 in Phoenix.Az. Had it on trial for a weekend, too bad Fender dropped that model. Throw a switch and the Pedals and knees worked the other neck, like b0b's Willians.
That is like having 10 pedals and 10 knee levers on your standard guitar.
They could have worked on getting the Weight down, and maybe the cost,($1500.) as it was high, whan D10's Emmons and Sho-Buds could be had for about $1000.. . It was about 90 lbs, at least if I remember...al
