They say that if you live long enough you'll get old, Turning 92 back in August was traumatic enough but a couple of months ago I fell and brokee my left hip and banged up my knee. All that just to advertize a guitar for sale. Can't play pedal steel anymore so I want to sell my U12. Standard Emmons setup with lockout lever. Comes with bar, picks, and a Hilton foot pedal. Asking $1800.00 plus shipping.

Terry, thanks for asking. This is one of several that I built as a hobby and sold them at a very low price just to promote the steel guitar. This one I built for myself for my 91st birthday.I guess I shouldn't brag but it is a ghood guitar. |

Sam is a good and honest fellow. Anything he built has quality to it. If I didn't have two 12's myself, I would buy his guitar. Someone needs jump on this deal. |

Chris and Jerry. I appreciate your input. I cvan understand the hesitation about buying a guitar "home made" but the parts in that guitar were milled in a multi-million dollar facility owned by a music playing buddy of mine. The cross shafts are 1/2" aluminum, the changer is laser cut stainless steel. I could ggo on but I'll sstop here. It doesn't eat much so I guess I'll kepp it. |

Guess I jumped the gun jua bit so I'm going to modify the post and place an alternate choice. in guitars. I gess the U12 isn't as popular as the S-10 or D-10. I'm adding an S-10 with 3 and 4, Emmons, E's on the left. I can't play gigs anymore so they need to go. Comes with bar, picks and Hilton pedal $1500.00 plus shipping. I do not have cases for the guitars but will pack them securely.

Sam: What does the 10 string weigh. If light enough for my heart failure I would buy it from you. |
