I am new to the forum and am looking to buy my first pedal steel and have it shipped to Australia.
I have been considering Mullen's Royal Precision or G2 and have been recommended Show Pro's "The Lloyd Green" which I really like and had a good chat with Jeff yesterday. Looking for some feedback on the above or any others that I should be looking at. Just keen to make the right choice. Thanks for your assistance. Dave

Any one of those choices is an excellent instrument. Each could last your whole life.

Can’t go wrong.

Yes Dave,Mullen and ShoPro are top shelf instruments. They are equally superb guitars. Either one will keep you busy for a lifetime!

I think that one thing to consider is the ergonomics of a single wide vs double wide steel guitar.
I feel more comfortable with a SD (double-wide) because I sit farther from the strings, and I can stretch my legs. Yet the knee levers are still close. Of course you may have the opposite opinion.
If you can try out a single vs a double it might help your decision.
Regardless - have fun!!! Very Happy

Thank you for the feedback. I'm going to run with Show Pro's "The Lloyd Green" which is an SD-10. Will place an order in for it today.
Now to decide on a Volume Pedal!
Thanks again!

That’s a beautiful guitar. If you’re throwing around that much bread, get a Telonics volume pedal, and be done with that concern.

We expect pictures on delivery.

Josh. Great guitars. Get in touch with Doug Earnest. He owns the company.
