I would say it's more likely that nobody knows who he was. Could you please provide some context? _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

Part & parcel of the history of Country Music and the history of the steel guitar are the venues where the artists and musicians worked. Think about Wynn Stewart and Ralph Mooney at the Nash-Nevada in Vegas or Panther Hall in Ft. Worth. No less important is Bonnie Price's Foothill Club in Signal Hill, managed by her husband, Ronnie, after Bonnie's health was failing. Lots of action took place here over many years involving scores of musicians, known and unknown, who advanced country music. Here are a few quick photos.
I have a question. In the first photo is this Bonnie Price w/ Ronnie Price with the caption mislabeled: "Charlie Price." Thanks for any replies.

I played in LA when the Foothill Club was passing from relevancy, but enjoyed the tuck 'n roll atmosphere there, saw some great players from the local scene, including Al Bruno, my steel teacher Blackie Taylor, etc. RIP Ronnie Price. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

Is this the place that Gordon Terry got the job at and persuaded Buddy Emmons to join him at? _________________ 2013 Williams D-10, 2019 Williams D-10, 1970 Fender Twin, Evans SE200, Fender Tonemaster Twin, Hilton pedal, Jagwire Strings. |
