Forgive me if I've asked this before - my memory is starting to go!
I keep getting the following message on startup (Windows 10)
but when I investigate it tells me that the driver is up to date and the device is working normally. The computer itself is working just fine - it's just annoying and somewhat puzzling. I am using two monitors, one RGB and one HDMI - don't know if that has anything to do with it.
I can live with it - there are greater annoyances elsewhere in life - but if there's an easy fix I'll take it. _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

I suspect the 2nd monitor may be the cause.
The main monitor is all that's usually detected at start up and the second monitor driver is not "installed" until after Windows starts.
If you disconnect the second monitor, do you get the message?
Also, look in the BIOS and see if there is an option to enable second monitor. |
