Very nice, Dale! I like that tone, too.
As for the D13 tuning, in my view it's the very first complete amalgamation of both standard tunings. It has every E9 (D9) open string and almost every C6 (D6) open string.
All it lacks is C6th' low F and A (in D: G and B) but, in my setup, they'll be available on my RKR.
JC has shown how well it works but, for me, it's still an 'on paper' project. It's better, even, than Buddy's experimental E13th simply because of the lower pitch (D vs. E) being closer to C6th' timbre. |

Thanks Roger... I have a lot of admiration for you taking on a whole new tuning and a couple extra strings as well.

Thanks Larry... I like them too, though I need to utilize the 10th string more than I do.
