SOLD — PLEASE LOCK: Peavey Nashville 400 amp with custom road case by A & S —sold together $300!
These date from 1999 or so.
The amp has wear from many club gigs and one short European tour over the years, but works perfectly. I bought it new and there are no mods (except I removed the “Peavey” logo because I’ve never cared for it). One metal corner-cover is a little banged-up (see pic). Reverb remote switch is included and works perfectly. I am not a speaker guru, so the speaker is whatever they put in these things at the time (it says “Peavey” and is giant). These Nashville 400 amps are beasts and will blow your head off —with clean headroom to spare. I’m the only owner of this amp and have never had a single problem with it. Zero. Built like a tank.
The case is custom-built for this amp by A & S in North Hollywood. Similarly built like a tank, with great casters. It has only been on the one brief European tour, so doesn’t have too many miles on it (although you get all the nifty stickers from over the years).
Case dimensions: H: 29” W: 23.5” D: 14”
These babies are true road warriors. No way am I shipping them though (heavy), so the buyer should be in the Northern California area. I’d be happy to meet you halfway if the drive is not more than a few hours.
-Greg

No kidding.
That corner can be replaced. The speaker is most likely a Black Widow 1501-4, as that is what they used, except in the first 2 or 3 years of production when they used a 1502-4. My 1984 Nv400 has the 1502-4. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Playing for 55 years and still counting. |

I didn't think Peavey made Nashville 400's in 1999.

Not certain of the year I bought this amp new. However, this article from Mike Brown on the Peavey site confirms that the Nashville 400 was still in production in 1999:

Anyone know when the last Nashville 400 was manufactured?
(This one I’m selling might be among the final examples.)

Your amp was made in 1995 or later according to the Peavey website. |
