Hi all,
I'm sure this recording isn't new to many of you but when I was trying to trace the player in a particular version of a song from the Spongebob soundtrack, I was listening to a couple of the players I knew who had played for it (Jeremy Wakefield and Gary Brandin) (spoiler, it was neither...Casey Olsen on an older 90s recording with Benny Kalama and Hiram Olsen). And I ran across this album, which I promptly purchased digitally:

Really great playing, a nice diversity of tunes, and while the rest of my family tends to be more just "tolerant" of my odd music, they really seem to enjoy this. It isn't quite "proper" Hawaiian, and to my ear, isn't a pure Western swing either, but whatever it is, it swings great and is a fun listen! _________________ Waikīkī, at night when the shadows are falling

This is the the album that really got me hooked! Jeremy's playing hits it all for me. It sounds classic and modern at the same time. Dave Biller is one of my favorite standard guitar players as well!
Here is another just as good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzWdVJ_vYVE |

Jeremy is a fantastic steel player.
Like the great Tom Morrell, Jeremy has speed and accuracy we can only dream about . But definitely has a unique style of his own non the less. _________________ Canopus d-8
