Curious if anyone is using these for pedal steel, or if anyone has any opinions on how steel sounds through the "Custom voiced 15” Eminence" speaker that it ships with. I play a lot of c6 and see myself as chasing the Curly Chalker tone. I borrowed a friend's NV 400 a while ago and concluded that a 15" speaker is what's missing from my life. I would play it through a Tone Block 202 if I ended up taking this plunge, and it would double as a clean guitar amp. I know the Travis Toy is another option but I'm specifically asking about the Block Dock here.
I did some searches and didn't come up with this specific question, but apologies if it's already been talked about and I just missed it.
What are the benefits and limitations of the 15 IN Block Dock with steel? |

I’ve used the Block-dock 15 with the Quilter 202 with great results .it’s the same speaker as in the Steelaire .

Thank you, that is music to my ears as I've played through the Steelaire and like that speaker. |
