I'm sending a package and a check to Jerry Byrd to purchase some of his tab. of Hawaiian songs. I would like for him to send me a note with his signature to frame for my music room.

Does anyone know if he has time for this sort of thing? Does anyone correspond with him? Who would know?

Thanks in advance, Rick

I have ordered several batches of tab from Mr. Byrd and each has included a hand written note that included a signature.

I ordered some tab fron Jerry during the Christmas season a few years back. He included his usual nice note AND he hand decorated the border of the package with green holly leaves and red berries ! I will treasure it always.

I ordered some tab from Jerry Byrd last year and included with the package he sent was a hand written thank you note.

In addition to being incredible on the steel, Jerry Byrd has wonderful control and artistry with the pen. He could be a professional caligrapher if he chose to do so.

I have never known of Jerry not to answer in his own handwriting. And often a wonderful letter. How in this world he finds the time to do it is beyond me.

I magine the postage?

God bless him,

carl

I have kept every letter, envelope, Christmas card I have ever received from Jerry. As with his musicianship, his handwriting is beautiful. My handwriting appears similar to that on a doctor's prescription...unreadable!

Keoki, your handwriting is excellent! Remember many moons ago when you asked me to please print my correspondence to you? I did and you asked me to go back to writing. That is bad penmanship for you! I also have kept all that Jerry has written to me. Beaytiful stuff. CC
