Topic: Help identifying a steel guitar |

Hello all,
I'm looking for some help with identifying a steel guitar. The only image that I have of it is low quality and I've placed it below. If anyone can identify the model, that would be appreciated.

Hello,
I see that this post is generating a bit of interest, but nobody is talking. I have some more information about the pedal steel guitar that might not be easily seen in the photo. It has 12 strings, 3 foot and 2 knee levers.
I believe that it's an Emmons 12 string, but the logo does not look like an Emmons logo. Does anyone know if the logo changed over the years?
Any thoughts, observations or comments are appreciated.

It may have an Emmons fretboard but I doubt very much that it is an Emmons.
Some under the hood pictures would certainly help.

I think the reason no one has commented is that we don't recognize this as being a brand of guitar that we've seen.
In fact, it appears to be a mishmash of parts from different guitars and some home built construction.
Without better pictures and photos of the mechanics, hard to tell. There very well could be some Emmons parts on there, but it is not a guitar built by the Emmons Guitar Co. I think it's safe to say. |

I appreciate those responses.
Unfortunately, the individual who has the guitar is not able to provide any additional pictures. In addition, I'm not able to visit in-person.
The mystery remains!

I will proceed with caution. I think that I'd be able to get this for around 400-500$, if I intend on purchasing it.

The guitar looks like it was some ones dream, That became a reality. I don't believe it is EMMONS.
It looks more like it is an EAN?? in the blow up of the name. I have never seen the name on the right side of a guitar, Just model on right.
Do you know the person who has the guitar?
Where is the guitar located?
I would want to see the underside of the guitar, Before going farther in buying the guitar. |
