It’s in Bakersfield, if I had $600, I’d drive over there this afternoon! _________________ Santo Fan Club - from the island of Coney to the sands of Rockaway

It’s $600 now but its got five days to go.
I would be wary of buying a dual 8 from an auction like this. Too many things can go wrong with those guitars, pickups cave in, tuners strip. What do yo think those black dots on the body and leg are all about, maybe just a reminder to put that leg in that socket? Doesn’t say anything about a case either. |

I think people get in a buying frenzy on that site, they can't let a good deal happen. It's a almost $1200.00 now, with potentially all those problems you mentioned, 100 bux apiece for pickup rewinding, not to mention if the Telecaster guys have looted it's electronics and knobs. |

So true! Still fun to watch. I really wonder where all this stuff comes from?? Hard to believe people are just giving it up. I have seen so many vintage Gibsons and Martins go on there. Who the hell takes those to Goodwill! |

It used to be that good deals could regularly be had on Goodwill.com. Now, not so much. I still check the site regularly and every so often find something to bid on. _________________ If I'd stop buying old guitars to fix, I might actually learn to play.
I haven't met a guitar I didn't like. |

Goodwill used to be a great place to find deals, but not so much any more.
A couple of months back I found a Ibanez electric on the shelf with no price. I asked, they took it back to talk to the manager. and 10 mins later told me they meant to put it on the website, and it wasn't for sale. |
