hi Preston,
thanks for letting me know about him. I have a friend from
southern Illinois up here who knows a girl singer that
plays with the Jackson junction band some times.is the band
still together down there?? would like to come down and
see some steel players. DO you play out down there at all
LET ME KNOW About the band if you could....

Hey Paul
John is a killer musician but he not playing at all right now do to a incident! Myself I am not playing out anymore because of health problems ! I was playing with several members of jackson junction when I quit playing out we were billing as Deanna Freeman & smalltown at the time but I know all the guys in jackson junction and their all friends of mine! Who did your friend know that plays on & off with them is it Deanna , or Julie she knows!

yes preston deanna is here name he is from benton illinios
just for your information i am looking for a country band
played around here illinios & wisconsin for years DBL ON 6 STRING

Who is it you know from Benton Il.I live about 15 minutes from benton outside of Thompsonville and know several people from Benton & have played music for about 40 years around here and yonder!!

I thought I might know your buddy him being from Benton but I guess not the only colyer that rings a bell with me would be wade colyer that use to bulid steels and play also but he passed on sometime ago! As far as the band goes I thik there on a hiatus right now from what I understand!
