Aloha International Steel Guitar Club's Annual Convention
Thursday - Saturday July 11-13, 2002
Williard School
Winchester, Indiana (near Muncie)
This year's guest of honor is world renown Hawaiian steeler Bobby Ingano.
Although this convention is primarily Hawaiian steel oriented you will in the course of the three day convention most likely hear acoustic Hawaiian, electric Hawaiian, Country, Western Swing, Bluegrass, pedal steel, popular standards etc. all
played on a variety of steel guitars.
Nightly free jam sessions, all welcome.
Saturday night Luau w/entertainment.
Live, free, Hawaiian steel guitar music happy-hours at restaurants around town.
The participants/performers are friendly, open and willing to share tips,
playing techniques, tunings, etc. with whoever shows interest.
Be there, aloha.
