As much as I love my steel guitar practice, health issues have forced me to cut way back to the point where my guitars need new homes.

First up is a long scale cast aluminum 7 string with horseshoe pickup which Todd built for me in 2017. The string spacing at nut and bridge is 3/8”. I had a pick guard installed because I’ve got a tendency to sometimes hit the fretboard with my picks.

The sound of this instrument is unlike any other I’ve ever played, wood, Bakelite or metal.I don’t feel comfortable describing sound, so here’s an SGF discussion from earlier this year regarding the various attributes of Todd’s guitars. https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=377263&highlight=clinesmith+++sound

No. I sold a Clinesmith Joaquin. I’m not happy about selling my guitars, but life can be like that…..
