I have a 1950's gibson pedal steel. It has eight strings and four pedals. The pedals are all attached to one leg. It is currently being restored so I have no pictures. I've been unable to find one on the web and. I am interested to hear if someone has any idea of the value.

A google search for Electraharp turns up a bunch of past asking prices (who knows the actual sale price).

It is a tiny market. If it is in excellent condition, your best deal just might be to try to sell it to one of the deluxe dealers such as Carter, Gruhn or Retrofret. They charge super-premium prices so their wholesale deal with you might possibly be as good as a private deal. (I don't know this for any kind of fact.)

Bottom line is that these are probably of greater interest to collectors than to players and that's who the top shelf dealers are targeting.

As a side note, Gibson was sued by the Harlin Bros for patent infringement over this guitar and they had to take it off the market. Sad
