I have never seen this instrument in person but my friend Carroll Benoit asked me to help post info for its Colorado-based owner who is unable to play the instrument due to cancer. This single cone guitar has a mix of tricone vibe and Dobro vibe. A unique guitar.

This resonator guitar is from 2013 but is still almost like new. **** PRICE LOWERED TO $2,600 ****. This is quite a bit less than it sold for new. Specs and photos below. If interested, PM me and I'll put you in touch with the seller.

Beautiful and very unique guitar. Not anything unusual, as all Benoit guitars seem to be. Ultimate craftmanship and each one with a unique voice.

I've played a Benoit for over 15 years, and the sound keeps getting better. I'll be using it in the studio in the coming weeks working on our band's 50th anniversary project.

I spoke with Carrol and Anita recently and they seem to be enjoying retirement.

Yes Damir, it's been offline for quite sometime. I think the last thing he built might have been his Harpsichord, maybe in 2016!

Hi Andy,
Do you know if Carroll Benoit is still alive?
He was a good customer and bought all his inlays from me for years.
We often had nice long chats on the phone.
Haven't talked to him in years.
Andy Question

Yes, Carroll is retired. His instruments are all of exceptional quality with amazing tone and sustain. His website is closed down and no longer active.

Thanks Andy,
I'll have to find his old phone number since he was in Beaumont, TX and we are looking for a house in that general area, East Texas.
Yes he is a great builder. Made wonderful resophonics.
