| I would like to set up my C6 neck to use the pedals/ levers to change to B11 and not have to keep pressing down on the pedals. Is locking the pedals/ levers down something that other steel players have done? Thanks. |

| I’ve desired this on my E9 for the E lower. I know some universals have that as a feature, surely it could be applied to C6 too I would imagine. |

It is mechanically possible to put a lock on about any pedal or lever. Enough space is hard to find under some guitars. You need to have the lock, Spring loaded, So it holds the pull tight against its stop so it maintains the note exact over long periods of playing. Most locks have to be mounted under the body, And you have to reach under the guitar to engage or release the lock.
An easy way to attach a lock. Add another bell crank and use it to attach lock setup to the cross rod under the guitar that the pull works on.
Putting and lock or such under 1 of my steels I like to use existing screw holes, So no visible holes are added underneath the guitar. |
