1978 Zumsteel SD125543, SD12, 5+5, #43 made. This is a rare early Zum and a beast of a machine. It has the original early Zumsteel double line logo. Sounds fantastic. It is configured as an Ext E9 with Day pedal setup, there are a few unused fingers with black lines marked on the ends. Copedent in photos, it's not a common copedent but could be reconfigured. Buddy Emmons & Jeff Newman signed it with an engraver. I don't have hard proof of that but I've been told it wasn't uncommon at the steel shows back in the day, so I have no reason to doubt these are real. This needs to belong to someone who can take care of it and put it to good use. Has a heavy duty road case.
Sold through Facebook group. I'm in Rogers, Arkansas (northwest corner), and will consider delivery or meet up within a day's drive (St Louis, Dallas, KCMO, Memphis maybe Nashville, Little Rock, Tulsa, OKC, Springfield, you get the idea). Ask if you have any questions.

Who's gonna get it? If I wasn't 2,000 miles away I'd have grabbed it in a New York minute.
I can't remember seeing a nice Zum taking more than a day.

I've had several takers that need it shipped. Several that are just far enough away that delivery would require an overnight stay, and I'm conflicted about whether I can pull off that kind of a trip at the moement. And 4 folks that said they'd buy it and pick it up, then back out due to personal circumstances, which I totally understand.
In other words, it's hot but it ain't sold yet.
I'm only selling for 2 reasons, I haven't been playing steel for awhile now, and I really want a certain bass. I'm mainly a bass player, and that's what I gig on 95% of the time. But I'm also selling lots of other gear to fund that bass, so there's a chance if the Zum doesn't sell it'll come back off the market within a week. |

If sale falls through Lemeno through messenger. Wasn’t really interested in a double body but trying to get my friend into a universal and thought I’d ask some questions and maybe strike a deal. Would meet u to pick up if things would work out. Good luck though on current prospect. Marty Letz. |
