Emmons Pentad pickups

What years did the Emmons guitar company install the Pentad pickups? These pickups had a 5 way switch. In other words 5 different coil taps. I had an early LeGrande that had one of those pickups. You could switch from a humbucking pickup to a single coil, and different versions of each. It was one of the best sounding guitars I ever owned, I should not have sold it. You never see one of these guitars for sale, so I am assuming Emmons installed very few of these pickups in guitars?
