So I have always used my Goodrich passive pot pedal right after my steel. Then send that output to my processor. My pedal is 500k ohms I believe . That high impedance for An instrument level connection if I’m thinking right

So I’m am looking to get a Goodrich H10k pedal. I’m assuming this has a 10k pot. So the problem is, if I’m correct, this is for line level only and probably won’t work very well directly after the guitar.

Am I correct on this?

It wouldn't work right in front of most amps but you could use it on the Pre EQ loop on most Peavey Nashville models. It would also work in most buffered effects loops.

If you're ordering from Goodrich/Kevin, you can ask for a 250k or 500k pot or any variant like 470 (I don't think i've heard of anybody using 250k for steel but you can just ask him.

Kind of a tough topic to search archives but here's one thread https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=170114
