I have ordered a Benado Steel Dream and am wondering two things. Is it worth the cost? I currently use two Strymon pedals, Blue Sky and Time Line. The combined cost of those pedals is beyond the cost of the Benado, and the Benado sure seems to sound good on Paul Franklin”s rig, but he could draw tone out of a turnip. I like the sound of the Strymon but would prefer to have one system for Steel, and another for Dobro, Mandolin and fiddle.
Does anyone have one for sale? There is a long waiting list to get one and Sage is still working out some supply chain issues. I figure I should have a back up anyway. |

BE PATIENT, one usually turns up every couple of weeks here on the forum in the for sale section! and they don't last long so stalk the forum every morning and evening.
Hang in there! |

I had a Benado and sold it. I now use Strymon Blue Sky Reverb and Strymon Brigade Delay. In my opinion, they sound way better. I thought I would like the Benado, because that's what Paul uses. Its pretty limiting and sounds nothing like the Strymon units. I play a Mullen G2 through a Little Walter 89 PF head. YMMV _________________ Tim Harr
