Is anyone playing the (pretty much) standard copedent that DOES NOT lower D# down to C# when the Es are lowered?

Me. I tune string 2 to C# and raise it to D# when I'm on the E9 side, using the same lever that raises 9th string B to D.

Mike Perlowin also tuned his 2nd string to C#. He raised it to D and to D# on separate levers.

It was Mike who gave me the idea, God rest him.

My lever has a half-stop at D, which is a meaningful note in both tunings.

Trying a 12 string UNI and the copedent has the C# change on the second string R/R.

Bob,,,that LKR lever must have been way to the right to allow him to reach the far inside pedals.

Mike told me that he rarely used the inside pedals. He found everything he needed on the "E9th" pedals, knees, and his wrist lever.

You know what Bob,,,,,I can believe that!!!! I've got a chart that Jeff made that has the formulas,,(string grips pedals, knees) for some very C6ish extended chords,,,,,very "Randy Beaver-ish"

Looks like that would also eliminate the C pedal,,,,having the C# and F# there ,,,unless someone really worked the C pedal,,ala Lloyd Green,,,which I don't. I just use it occasionally for my minor,,,not pedaling in and out of.
