One end open, one end closed. These are the translucent, softer material, the industry standard, not the harder white material with the ring on the end.
Dimensions are 1" long, 3/16" across the flats, and a hole that is 13/16" deep, and they fit a 3/32" rod.
Please do not send me e-mails asking if they will fit your guitar, because I don't know. All I can say is that I have used them on my Mullen wich has 3/32" rods with 6-40 threads, like many brands of pedal steel.
Gets your tools out and measure what you need, don't guess, know what you are buying, I will not take returns on these.
