Made this cover back in '88 on a 4-track. Always loved this Poco tune....

Thx for posting

PS, I saw Poco perform this song in concert a few times... just plain great. I took a friend who was not a Poco fan at all with me to one of the shows , he is a Blues/Jazz guy, he thought they were incredible. And they were ! _________________ Emmons L-II , Fender Telecasters, B-Benders , Eastman Mandolin ,

no flies on that act!.. That was very nicely done.. You nailed a lot of the steel licks, and acoustic guitar parts as well.. Good vocals too... I would be very proud of making that recording ! _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

Thanks so much guys. I think that when I made it, “ignorance was bliss” . Not sure if I’ll ever try this one again. The cheesy drum machine seems to be the weak link here. In any case, you’re all right.... it’s a great song. _________________ MCI Arlington S-10 3+5, George L E-66, BJS & Emmons bars, Fender Princeton 65W, Fender Satellite SFX, custom FX rack, 1983 Dobro 60D, SX-8 lap steel, Martin D16GT, Ibanez AS73, 1978 Rickenbacker 4000 custom. |
