Anyone have experience with these? I am looking for a practice amp that takes headphones. This Bronco seems to have a following. Some people are convinced it is a Fender Frontman repackaged. The schematics are similar but not identical. According to the Bronco owner manual, Fender modified the power amp to mimic a tube amp. I am trying to get to the bottom of this mystery. The sound clips on Youtube sound amazing! Very Champ like. I am leaning towards the Champion 20 as I love tweeds and there are some promising models in this amp. Seems very versatile. I haven't ruled this little Bronco out, but they go for some dough, about twice the Champion 20. They just look so cool!

i have the fender bronco and it is a great little SS amp. works well as a practice amp as well as running thru a larger cab for a bigger sound. i'll enclose a pic of mine. i may be tempted to let it go as i've decided to downsize some equipment.

play music!

Let me know if you decide to sell it. Looks like it is in good condition. It would be nice to find one locally I could play around with. Wish it had reverb.

I have a thread going on over in the telecaster forum about this. https://www.tdpri.com/threads/tweed-bronco-vs-frontman-15g-vs-narrow-panel-champ.1103148/
This amp really interests me, but I may just try to find an early Frontman 15 Reverb. They are the same amp as far as I can tell. (minus the tweed cab and cool retro chassis). Not the same as the Frontman 15G. Apparently the lowly Frontman just needs a cool retro look to sound good Wink
