Anybody out there can tell me how to adjust pedal height on Carp Steel, I cannot figure out how to get the ball out of the socket so the threaded part can move.

Check close on the ball and socket set up. There should be a spring loaded sleeve, Holding the ball in the socket. Grasp the sleeve and pull it away from the ball, It should release the ball from the socket, For removal. Then loosen the lock nut on pedal rod and screw rod in or out to obtain proper pedal height. Then lock the lock nut back snug so the pedal rod will not move.
Good Luck and Happy Steelin.

Yep, you are correct, I was just pushing on the wrong sleeve, the upper part.....pretty obvious once done. Thank You sir. I build hot rods from scratch, but this pedal steel stuff is just too tricky for this old guy!
