SOLD! Sad to say but I am not gigging at all these days. So it's time to reduce the size of the herd. I am offering my 1981 Emmons D-10 for sale - $3700 plus shipping. It had a complete rebuild and metalwork polished by Mike Cass a few years back. Minimal usage in the intervening years. There are 5 levers for the E9 neck and 5 for the C6. The E9 is stock Emmons setup (E's on left knee, Vert - B to Bb). LR lowers string 6 and raises string 1, RR lowers 2 & 9. C6 : LL lowers A to G#, Vert is Reverse pedal 6, LR raises A to A#. RL lowers C to B, RR raises C to C#. The sound is classic Emmons and it is fully loaded for both E9 & C6! Comes with Red Dirt case. New fretboards. Mica is in great condition. Tuning keys are tight but operational.
A great playing guitar - outstanding Emmons sound - used on numerous recording dates.

Beauty. Where are you going to find another pedal steel that matches the cat? |

Yes, the cat is part of the deal! He's a great mouser if you have the need. My other guitar is black...but I am NOT looking for a black cat!

I bet if you cleaned the cat hair out from the undercarriage and the case it would sell. What if someone wants this guitar but is allergic to or hates cats? No one wants to have to clean that after paying thousands of dollars. |

Actually he prefers regular guitar cases ..... he hasn't had a chance to claim any of my steel cases yet.

For those of you who may be concerned about possible feline fur: I detailed out the underside of the guitar and the case. They are now completely dust & fur free....

This looks to be a very well maintained push/pull loaded up with 8 knees and a road case.
Seems like a great deal on a solid steel. Best of luck on your sale Jim. |

Any others that you are selling? An S10 perhaps? _________________ Been at this damn thing for a few years now. Not so sure that I'm getting anywhere but it is fun. Sometimes. |
