Just wanted to share a few pic's of Mike Cass' latest restoration project on my LDG. It was a pleasure doing business with Mike and he kept me informed as to everything he was doing by phone on a regular basis--this is customer service! He completed this project way ahead of schedule even with him out on the road for 12 days with Mr. Ray Price. Mike replaced the old fingers with new aluminum fingers from Duane Marrs and A.J. Nelson refinished the cabinet--his work speaks for itself! Superb work by all and as Mike said, the aluminum fingers really enhanced the tone! Thanks for the great work/service Mike--Carl
P.S. Thanks to John Coop for the LDG Decal!

Gentlemen, I appreciate all of your kind words--and I'll take this opportunity to refer anyone thinking about restoration work to Mike Cass. He's very easy to talk with--just let him know what you want, and it will be done if it can be done!
Thanks again Mike! Carl

He doesn't readily want to admit to Sho~Buds but Mike can restore, repair & play them like nobody His specialty are Emmons though. Never heard my Pro III sound so good one night Mike stopped in a club I was playing at when he was in the Twin Cities!!

I still love that blue Carl!

Very nice specimen indeed. I love the way the lacquer goes into natural on the neck. Super-sharp.

I want it!! Absolutely beautiful. You are a lucky man. Sho-Bud, in my opinion, is still the prettiest guitar ever made.

Carl and all;
thanks for the kind words. This job was a bit of a sub-contract as I dont do re-fins etc myself, but a sweet guitar was the final product. If I ever buy another 'Bud it'll have those alum fingers installed as fast as my little hands can work; what an improvement in tone!
I love the sunburst finish on the neck as well, very distinctive.
enjoy it Carl and thanks again.
