thanx johnie, this combo cabinet is the first one I have built. It is a front load which makes it easier to see the contols when it is in the tilt back position. I built this cabinet for forum member Jim Cooley |

Does the TB202 slide in and out, or is it permanently attached? |

Rodger it slides in an out when you want it to easy in an out.
Be really nice with tilt back legs.
I'm sure Tommy could put protective black or Crome corners on this model.
The customer wanted this one with out trim corners. |

Johnnie does not have the cabinet, just the photo of the one I had Tommy build for me. I had a front facing amp head/cabinet design for the Quilter 202 in mind for a while. I approached Tommy about it at the Texas Jamboree this past March. He designed a clamp that fits at the back of the amp head and secures it in place. The photo was taken before the cabinet was finished. It has chrome corners.
I do not actually have the cabinet yet. It is still at Tommy's house. I have been waiting until I receive the cabinet to post a thread and additional photos. I'll do that once it is in my possession. |

Looks great Jim!
I'd sure like to see one with a Fenderish-looking cabinet with black tolex and silver grille cloth...something akin to a mini Steel King.
Tommy: Any orders for one? |

What a brillant idea, Jim!
Another well made cabinet by Tommy!
If you haven't named it yet my vote is to call it the "JT Docker".
Jim, have you selected a speaker for it?
Tommy, will you make these for speaker size options? 12" and 15"?
I'm interested in one in the Burgundy Python Snakeskin tolex as the other 2 cabs you built for me. Black corners and hardware. Will you please text me pricing?
Thanks Guys,
Greg |

Greg - Thanks. Like I said above, I had this configuration in my head for a while. Tommy and I discussed it at length at the Texas Jamboree. He worked out the details. I haven't named it, might not. My factory 12" Block Dock has a TT12 speaker. I have tried others, but the TT12 is my hands-down favorite.
I hope to have it this week, and will post my own thread along with more photos after I have a chance to play through it for a little while. |
