I have a pro 2 I want to add some extra bellcranks to pedal 4 for a Franklin change

it's a "newer" bud with the 3up 2down changer with the "square" cross shafts. could I just use some gfi bellcranks, collars, rods, nylon tuners etc ?

I'm less than 2 hours from billy coopers and know he'll have those parts I'm pretty sure

Wow, didn't know they ever used Square cross shafts, going from round shaft 2-hole pullers to the hex cross shafts in the Super Pro undercarriage. But with Sho-Bud, you never know. Measure the shafts and if the GFI bellcranks are the same size, they should work, and so should the rest of the pull train. I wanted to use some in My Carter, but GFI used a different size cross shafts, smaller I think.

Unless the guitar's been modified they would be 5/16" hex shafts. Michael Yahl sells replacement cranks and other associated parts you might need, but he's out of stock on the cranks at the moment. Mullen hex cranks will work also.

Hi Daniel: I can make up as many as you need on the bell cranks with the 5/16" hex shaft. Pictured is a knee leaver crank I make.

Thanks Barry

Me too, unless the undercarriage was replaced at some point. I never knew Sho~Bud to use square cross shafts.

Daniel has this guitar up for sale/trade. They are indeed hex cross shafts. Gorgeous guitar. Someone needs to buy it or trade him for what he is looking for.
