I've been told that Bobbe wrote a paper titled "The Mechanical Guide to the Steel Guitar. If anyone has a copy, I would like to buy it or get the loan of it. A friend and I are putting together a comprehensive guide on servicing, trouble-shooting and repairing pedal steels. It is destined to be a free download to anyone who wants a copy. ...Tom (tommybradshaw@gmail.com)

I'm beginning to think that this paper by this name of "A Guide to Practical Understanding and Repair of the Pedal Steel Guitar" doesn't exist. I think it has been misnamed for Bobbe's DVD that describes the same thing. So, my question now is, does anyone in the steel guitar community know if the paper "The Mechanical..." etc.," is something they have seen or believes exists?

I have now learned that Seymour produced a Video titled "Maintenance, Push/Pull Steel Guitar Instructional Course."
In the Video he reveals a booklet titled "Mechanical Guide To Steel Guitar." I have the Video, but would like to obtain the booklet (which isn't a Video or DVD).

Tom, I do have that book. Let me locate it & get back to you. It’s sort of a crude thing (pages in a folder-binder). I would certainly loan it to you.

Looks like photocopys of type written text with some pictures and diagrams. It was priced $12.95. I really don't want to sell it but would loan it to you. Contact me.

Danny, Tom and I are working on several projects together. I believe he is out of country right now. If you haven't sent it to him, I would take it, make copies for him and return it to you. Thanks
