Designed by luthier to the stars Abe Wechter and built in China under his supervision. Inspired by the Martin 12-fret 000 models of the thirties. No longer made and hard to find. Great for fingerstyle or flatpicking. Solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. 1 7/8" nut width. Schatten HFN Artist active pickup. Original tuners replaced with Grovers. Excellent condition with no cracks, repairs or issues. Hate to sell it, but I just had an acoustic made to my specs, and something's got to go. Includes worn but functional original faux alligator hard case. $800 shipped to continental US.

Here are the full specs:

Lovely!
20 some odd years ago, when my joints were more nimble, I was inches from pulling the trigger on this model. Total triple O vibe

Search for Wechter TO-8418 Stevie Coyle
Nice demo review by a stellar finger picker

That review by Stevie Coyle is for the mahogany 8418 version. This is the rosewood version. The store I bought it from also had an 8418. I AB'd them and decided the rosewood version was well worth the extra $$. They're both great guitars. Thanks for the post.

Ah yes
I stand corrected

Guess I’m a mahogany guy and the mahogany got the best of me.
Super nice model

Here is a sound sample. It was recorded using a Focusrite 2i2 interface with an Audiotechnica AT 2020 microphone and again with the onboard Schatten HFN Artist pickup. https://soundcloud.com/chasebrady/wechter-sound-sample/s-uzNiE9DpgOe?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing
