Who makes (affordable) cases? I have a 30" Oahu 6 string I'd like to start taking on the road.

The two big categories of aftermarket cases used to store lap steels are keyboard cases and gun cases. Finding an actual lap steel case that's a good fit is unlikely unless you go custom.

I used a trombone case for my supro for years. $20 on craigslist. Unfortunately, my oahu is about a 1/2 inch too long to fit. But it still might be an option....
