I've seen a lot of videos of electric steel players in Bangladesh, mostly played on Givson instruments. These students all appear to have the same brand of acoustic guitars, a few of them with pickups.

Very nice to see so much interest in the steel guitar over there. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

They all seem to be using the same right hand technique of anchoring their pinky, picking over the hole, and using their index and middle finger for the melody and thumb for the drones. It's cool to see them but my knees hurt just watching that. I'd need a hoist to get up. _________________ Bob, small o. |

They all seem to be round necks with nut extenders.

They sit that way all the time and their leg joints are flexible, especially since they're at least 30 years younger than me. |

Lovely melodies and great, nasal tone. I love tabla as well.
I watch and listen to much music on the Darbar channel (https://youtube.com/c/darbarfestival). Love it. _________________ Marlen S12 pedal steel
