| My PSG was set up for some time, I broke it down went on a trip and returned, upon setting it up I made an effort to ensure it was level, after I sat behind the thing I sort of found myself favoring a very small slant towards me is this a bad habbit? I try to mind habbits and I don't know if this has ever been addressed. CARTER D10 |

i see a lot of guys slanting the guitar away from them ,
i have never seen anyone slant it inward...

Mine tilts back slightly. Seems more natural if you're not tall

I like mine dead level, but a friend of mine slant's his waaaay back towards himself. He is about 5'6". His is a MSA D10 and mine is a ZUM D10. Have a good day!

| I used to keep mine level, but years ago found that with a slight slant away, the knee levers are easier to operate because my knee pushes on them closer to the ends of the lever (actually about the middle) instead of up near the top, where there's no leverage. A.J. When I had my MSA S10 years ago it was level. then I purchased a D10 from a fellow and when I set it up it slanted back toward me and I thought that was strange but I got so I liked it. I'm back to a S10 3/5 and when I got it I purposely set it up slanting back toward me. It all comes down to what you like, Comfort, what sutes you best.

| My old MSA and my ZB D10's tilt away from me. My Zum U12 is as level as I can make it- it has extensions on the pedal rods so my long legs fit under it. |

I set my guitar level. After the Trufant Jam and checking out Clayton Lyon's new Zum I'm fine with my sound but desire the pedal/lever action of a Zum or Emmons.

| Of course having a level floor is a big plus, this is a pet peave of mine, now my old sho-bud I have it level try and figure that one out. and MIke I like medium well. |

I like to sit high at my steel, as it makes footwork easier. For this reason, I slant the steel forwards to get a comfortable hand angle.
