Michael, the backing tracks are a bit of a chore to create but I have found they do help me to understand how the steel guitar is harmonised to the music! I have also found that the simpler the backing the more you can express your personality in the steel performance! |

| Thank you Scott. I have been playing and recording a few of Jerry Byrd's pieces this last couple of months. I find it the best way to get into the way he plays. Having done this I can understand more why he is called the master of touch and tone. A truly great player! |
