I’ve been using the up pin or drop pin brackets forever and always has an issue with static and crackling. So I installed a rubber bushing in the pedal bar hole, problem solved.

The only other issue was the length of the pedal and bracket didn’t allow my pedal to fit into my pack a seat.
I bought the Mullen bracket at the Dallas show with an extra pedal
bar attachment.
Works perfectly , fits my Hilton and my Goodrich and is lighter and smaller and my pedals now fit in the seat.

Thanks for that info. I just ordered a Goodrich bracket last week. I'll be happy to know this before my gig on the 9th. I don't need extra trouble shooting problems on stage!

Bryce. The Goodrich brackets go over the pedal bar there shouldn’t be an issue.
These are different and don’t touch the top of the bar

Works great on my Rittenberry, and I like the size. Also works on my Mullen!

The opening is 9/32”. If the pedal bar is less it will fit
It fits my 2010 Rittenberry, the new Rittenberry’s and my Derby

I have used Goodrich's brackets. Not high tech, Just a bracket that goes up and over the pedal bar. It has rubber stirps and rubber buttons to protect the pedal bar. Used them for years on a MSA Steel and now on GFI's.

If you setup and tune guitar off stage, It works good to move guitar, Amp cable and volume pedal as a unit, On and off stage.

That's probably a grounding issue in your volume pedal, or a bad cord. Normally, this shouldn't be a problem because the volume pedal, legs, pedalboard, endplates, and frame of the guitar are all electrically tied together (grounded) by the shielded cable that runs from the guitar to the volume pedal. Occasionally, I've seen guitars with changers that weren't grounded to the endplate, and that can cause noise issues too.
