I like to prototype guitar amp-related stuff in my workshop. This is a solid ash, dovetail-joined cabinet with removable baffle and rear panel.
-Originally had a Black Widow 15, a Boss effects processor and a 200W plate amplifier. It has top and side handles and a steel perforated grille.
-The 1U rack space has T-nuts for bolting in the processor.
-Includes a slip cover and removable casters.
The amplifier is a Cerwin-Vega subwoofer amplifier converted to 120V and full-range. It can obviously be used for whatever purpose you choose.
-I can ship it, although it's pretty heavy. I'll box and weigh it to determine shipping. Otherwise, could meet buyer at a convenient place. I'm closest to San Antonio or Austin.
-Asking $150.00 and losing my 4$$.

Nice job. I question why the speaker is offset from center? _________________ "The secret to a long life is to keep breathing." |

I really can't remember why the speaker was offset but believe it was so the magnet would clear the amp transformer. |

It's a beautiful piece of woodwork. Love the dovetails
And the toroid on the amp is classic. _________________ "The secret to a long life is to keep breathing." |

This looks really cool! I have been thinking I might like something like this with a 2 space rack, no internal amp, and made of 1/2" pine for light weight. So let me know when you're taking custom orders. |

I'm with Mr. McDuffie
I have idea for a sick amplifier. I would need a cabinet similar to what you made.
If you have any interest, let me know.

Thanks for the replies. I bought the cab as a knock-down and then assembled and finished it, so I'm not a dovetail cabinet maker.
I want to sell this, so will do my best to make it attractive to a buyer. Bring all offers. |
