Beard's Resophonic Outfitters.
Elderly Instruments.

I use a long guitar strap made by Franklin. Leather outside with suede on inside, so it won't slide on your shoulder. If you use this strap you will still need a shoestring, or a Martin neck strap, or one of the new quick release snaps.

Got all my stuff at Guitar Center. Plenty happy.

I use a Webb strap (I thinks that is what it is called). It has the clip device that lets you take off the strap w/out removing it from the headstock. Can't remember where I got it from, but it is the best I've used. Works great for standing up too.

Amen to Don, folk of the wood , has the strap, that helps stabilize your guitar. I found it by typing in guitar straps, takes youto folk of woods . I added a lock on mine.

How you position the guitar has a lot to do with stability, especially when you're standing. Look at pictures of Josh Graves, Shot Jackson, etc. They've often got the body high and tipped slightly forward, the neck low, and their right arm wound up in the strap.
