| On last night's episode of The Righteous Gemstones (season 2, episode 9) there was some great steel playing on a version of "Some Broken Hearts Never Mend" and I'm just wondering if anyone knows who it was!? |

I would like to know too.
It was like entering an alternate universe:
"Wait... is that.. is that a pedal steel I hear?
And it's the only lead instrument, doing a dance with the vocals... and it's LOUD in the mix, like Lloyd Green "Live at Panther Hall" with Charley Pride?
And...and.. the tone is just great... and the guy is killin' the part with gobs of taste?
This is on regular old cable... HBO?
What's going on here? I don't understand my world!!" |
